Last updated: June 2026

1. The Solarc Stewardship SOLARC GOODS LIMITED (hereinafter “Solarc”) operates this digital archive. We approach the stewardship of your personal information with the same industrial precision applied to our 304L steel specimens. Registered with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), our data architecture is designed to maintain transparency, systemic protection, and your informed control.

2. Lawful Basis for Processing In alignment with the UK GDPR and the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, we process data through precisely defined statutory bases:

  • Contractual Necessity: Processing of shipping coordinates and required identifiers to fulfill your acquisition and deliver our pieces.

  • Legal Obligation: Compliance with UK customs, tax reporting via Royal Mail, and verified review tracking in adherence to the DMCCA 2024.

  • Legitimate Interest: Navigational optimization, fraud prevention, and the maintenance of technical site performance.

  • Consent: Curated marketing via Klaviyo (Email/SMS) and analytical tracking pixels, activated strictly upon your explicit digital consent.

3. The Digital Mesh & Third-Party Integration To facilitate a fluid brand experience, necessary data securely interacts with our verified technological stack:

  • Financial Tokenization: All payment gateways are processed through Shopify's PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure. Solarc does not directly store or process raw credit card numbers.

  • Logistics: We utilize Royal Mail Click & Drop tools to validate coordinates and execute precise shipping label generation.

  • Behavioral Architecture: We deploy Microsoft Clarity to analyze session heatmaps. All sensitive keystrokes and numerical input fields are masked prior to transmission.

  • Authenticity Verification: Purchase identifiers are securely processed via Judge.me to construct a verifiable buyer data trail, ensuring our review ecosystem complies with UK consumer protection regulations.

  • Omnichannel Signals: Subject to your active Cookie consent, anonymized behavioral signals may be synchronized with advertising partners including Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., TikTok Technology Limited, and Pinterest Europe Ltd. (Palmerston House, 2nd Floor, Fenian Street, Dublin 2, Ireland) as joint controllers for tailored digital curation. These platforms process personal data to measure ad performance and build custom audiences in accordance with their respective privacy policies. You can review their data handling practices or exercise your rights directly via their platforms: Meta Privacy Policy, TikTok Privacy Policy, and Pinterest Privacy Policy (https://policy.pinterest.com/privacy-policy).

4. Communications & Mobile Messaging (SMS) By explicitly opting into Solarc communications, you authorize the receipt of curated digital dispatches.

  • SMS Policy: Mobile numbers submitted for marketing are utilized specifically for acquisition reminders and time-sensitive logistical alerts. You may revoke this authorization at any time by replying "STOP" or utilizing the provided opt-out links. Standard data/message rates may apply.

5. Global Infrastructure & Data Transfers Our archive is powered by Shopify’s enterprise infrastructure, meaning data may be processed in global jurisdictions. All necessary international transfers are shielded by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) and the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, providing protection equivalents required by UK law. To the extent that personal data is transferred to third-party processors located in the United States (such as Pinterest, Inc. and Meta Platforms, Inc.), such restricted transfers are fully safeguarded by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA), the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), or the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (the UK-US Data Bridge) where the recipient organization maintains active certification.

6. Disciplined Retention & Purging Statutory financial and transactional data is securely retained for six years to satisfy UK HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) audit requirements. Marketing identifiers and tracking signals processed by our third-party advertising partners (such as Pinterest and Meta) are retained on their platforms in accordance with their respective retention rules, typically capped at 180 days for custom audiences and up to 2 years for anonymized ad analytics, after which they are securely purged. Other active marketing identifiers are maintained until consent is revoked, after which the designated data is securely purged from our active systems.

7. Age Restriction The Solarc archive is designed strictly for individuals aged 18 and over. If we are notified that data from a minor has been inadvertently collected, we will initiate immediate deletion protocols.

8. Your Statutory Rights Under UK data protection laws, you retain the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.

  • Rectify any inaccurate or incomplete coordinates.

  • Erase your data (subject to legal retention obligations).
